CivicBrief ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

Information We Do NOT Collect

If You Create a Profile

If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from Google solely to identify your account. This information is stored in Firebase and is never sold or shared with third parties.

You can delete your account at any time from the Profile tab → Settings → Delete Account. All associated data is permanently removed.

Third-Party Services

Each service is governed by its own privacy policy. CivicBrief does not control how these services handle data.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to anyone. We do not display ads.

Data Retention

Local data (zip code, preferences) stays on your device until you uninstall the app or delete your account. Crash reports are retained by Sentry for 90 days.

Children's Privacy

CivicBrief is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
